AccuDial is a Parent Tested A Parent Approved Seal of Approval winner and health Canada approved After giving it to my children I can see why. Have you ever went to give your kids a medication and read that there is one dose for 2 and older another for 10 -12 and another for 12 and older? I have and have been a little confused by it. How can children in a large age range all get the same dose? how can a dose even be determined by age? Kids are all built differently and even though they may be the same age, they may not be the same size. Luckily AccuDial has the answer for this.
"Children’s AccuDial® is a revolutionary line of OTC medications designed to give your child an accurate dose of medicine. The weight of children in the same age group can vary greatly, and they should not always be given the same amount of medicine. According to the American Medical Association, 72% of children are dosed inaccurately with OTC medications. Using the patented AccuDial rotating dosing system, simply turn the outer label of the bottle and match the child’s weight with the correct dose listed in milliliters!"
When it is time to give your child their medication all you have to do is check out the weight chart and give the accurate amount of medicine based on weight. Problem solved. I love this. My boys are two years apart and would normally be in the same age category but are NOT the same weight. Now their doses are different and I find more effective. Why take or give medication without the results you need anyway? I often wondered if the medication was working for my boys before when I would give them both the same dose. I hope this catches on for all childrens medication, it is really a great feature.

We love our Accudial here too :)
I would choose Nite Time Cold & Cough. My 8 month old is more fussy at night when he is sick then in the day. Or maybe it's because I'm so beat? :)
I've never used accudial and they have a wide selection of 'specifics'. Pretty cool.

I would pick the nightime cough and cold relief. Kids can usually make it through the day but if they are stuffy and coughing at night there is no sleep for anyone!
