Ninja Mommers... Tales Of A Ninja Mommy
Sometimes being a Mom Bites you in the butt, No really… My 3 1/2 year old has chased me around to try to bite my butt! Life with Kids can be kind of crazy sometimes.

I am the proud Mommy to a 31/2 year old Little Man that possesses the kind of sense of humor that all great comedians aspire to have, and a 4 Month old Baby Girl that has a set of lungs on her that would surprise anyone… She doesn’t cry a lot… but I am well aware of when she is happy… her screams of delight could make your ears bleed. Just like her Momma, You are also made well aware when she is NOT happy… and then? Grab the cotton balls and stuff them in your ears because if you think her screams of delight are loud… just wait until she’ mad.

One of the most difficult things about being a Mommy (Even one that is also a Ninja) is finding some time to spend on yourself, by yourself. Unless you are supermom, you need it! If you can’t admit to yourself that you need time away from you Children then I will be the first to tell you: “You my dear, are trying WAY to hard!” ADMIT IT! You dream of warm baths where you aren’t all of a sudden pelted by a 3 year old’s bath toys. You dream of putting a clean shirt on and having it remain clean for longer than 30 seconds, and most of all you forget what you used to smell like before you were perfumed by baby upchuck and your older child’s peanut butter sandwich that he just decided to rub all over your freshly changed shirt.

I guess my point is that even the best Mommys need to dedicate some time to themselves once in a while. A lot of Mom’s feel guilty admitting that they just need to be alone or at least experience some darned silence once in a while. DON’T feel guilty. Mom Guilt is an epidemic I swear. YOU are a great Mommy and you can be a better Mommy if you dedicate some time to making yourself relaxed and happy. Just be you, you deserve it Mom!
