Yes, you read that right. I said Chips and wine.
When I sat down to have a glass of wine the other night I also opened up a bag of chips. Miss Vickies Balsamic vinegar & sweet onion potato chips + Rosemont Estate SHIRAZ. It felt odd to me at first to be eating chips and drinking wine. You really would not think of the two together. However the taste and flavour combo was really surprisingly delightful. The flavour of the chips complimented the great taste of the wine. I liked it. I was also happy I am the only wine drinker in my home so I did not have to share. However the kids did scoop some of the chips
Another yummy pairing for the palette is
