Fun in the kitchen is all a part of being a kid. Making yummy treat and licking the spoon when done is memories in the making. Kellogg’s is a big part of these memories. When my children saw I had everything we needed to create a yummy Halloween treat, there was no waiting. Making the Rice Krispies treats was so easy. decorating them was so much fun and eating them well tasty of course

These ones are all pumpkin shaped. Cut out with the cutters we got in our pack. Decorated with icing and candies and gum strips.
Rice Krispies Treats recipe
INGREDIENTS
| 50 mL | 1/4 cup | margarine or butter |
| 250 g | 1 pkg | (about 40) regular marshmallows or 5 cups miniature |
| 2 mL | 1/2 tsp | vanilla extract (optional) |
| 1.5 L | 6 cups | RICE KRISPIES* cereal |
PREPARATION
- Melt margarine in large saucepan over low heat. Add marshmallows and stir until completely melted. Remove from heat.
- Stir in vanilla. Stir in KELLOGG’S* RICE KRISPIES* cereal until well coated. Using lightly buttered spatula, press into buttered 3.5 L (13 x 9″) pan.
- Allow mixture to cool. Cut into bars. Best if served same day.
NOTES / HINTS
For chewier bars, use an extra cup of miniature marshmallows or about 8 regular marshmallows.
