Barbie Rock n’ Royals DVD party #RockNRoyals

Barbie has been a fave in our home for many years! Having our oldest daughter grow up as a Barbie fan and now our 6 yer old, every day includes Barbie some how. The girls even get the boys in on play time when it comes to Barbie fun sometimes. My six year old likes to dress up like Barbie, watch the DVDs, sing the songs, read the books and of course, play with the dolls. There are so many to choose from, recreating the movies with the dolls is always a lot of fun.  Barbie lets children know they can be anything they want and do anything their heart desires.

We recently had some friends over to view the fabulous Barbie in Rock ‘n Royals DVD with us. The kids all painted their nails, had some treats and could not wait to watch the movie.

I watched this as well and was very pleased by the message the movie portrayed. Barbie empowers girls to raise their voice and rock their words through self-expression. The movie was about stepping outside ones comfort zone, trying something new and friendship. It was fun to watch and even funner to hear the girls sing along.  There is a whole new way to play with Barbie through Rock ‘N Royals. Content that young girls can feel connected with and allow self-expression. The movie even included a catchy song we were all singing for days.

All good parties have food right? We had mini cupcakes with sprinkles, flavoured popcorn and pink lemonade.

Girls love to be pampered as well! So nail painting was needed. Pink and blue just like Barbie Rock N’ Royals.

The characters in the movie have the dolls as well. So Barbie as Princess Courtney and the Erika doll with blue and brown hair. When a princess and a rock star are both thrown into different worlds what do they do? Get the movie and find out!
The dolls sing and play their instrument. With a turn of their skirt they transform from princess to rocker and sing. You can also press the jewel on their necklace to have them sing. Both dolls and the DVD can be found at Walmart and Toys R US nationwide.

Throw your own party!

What kid does not like to party? Who says you need a reason to throw one? Grab the movie for yourself and some fun girly treats and invite your daughter’s (or son’s) BFFs. It is that simple! Make sure you have time left for games after the party. Kids love to play and some Rock N ‘ Royal karaoke would be perfect.
