The last few weeks have been a fog. Most days I am confused, is it Monday or Thursday? I have lost interest in making lunches and often forget to sign papers for the kid’s classes.
I am ready for summer
I know I am not alone
Waking up to the day to day routine is boring and I am a tired mom who desperately wants to sleep in. I enjoy having my children home and look forward to the lazy days of summer. I asked my daughter if she would like me to sign her up for camp or swimming and she said no, she would like a break. So she too is feeling it.

I am looking forward to BBQs, swimming at the beach, fishing at the lake, hiking with the family and camping. We do a lot of entertaining in the warmer months and spend most of our time outdoors. It is a lot of fun but it can also get messy. Lucky for me I have Tide on hand to help me tackle the toughest messes.

Well I had been looking forward to summer holidays for june 9th and 10th. Then BOOM, I ended up having emergency surgery on may 16th and everything changed LOL..I have off until prob aug because NOW I have to also have surgery to get both ovaries removed…when it rains it pours eh? SO I am taking care of ME, taking things easy and hope that nothings cancerous when they do take every thing out. I still have my two days in June to look forward to as that is when I go to see my daughter convocate!!
