Party on with Trolls Family Movie Night #TrollsFHEInsiders #BringHomeHappy

In our home, we watch a lot of movies! It is sometimes tricky finding a movie that everyone is interested in. Having both teens and an eight year old, interests and movie genres vary. But we had actually seen Trolls in theatres and all knew how much we loved it. DreamWorks Trolls Party edition on Blu-ray and DVD is perfect for family movie night.

It doesn’t matter if you are a new fan or an old collector, Trolls is a fun family movie, that will have you singing, smiling and hugging throughout. With us all being under the weather here for the last few weeks, this movie was exactly what we needed. Some fun quality family time always does us good!

When watching movies as a family, it is common for the younger ones to get distracted. Family Movie Nights can contain more than just watching a movie – there are all kinds of other activities which can provide entertainment for your entire family. With this interactive movie, getting distracted is not an option! We usually make snacks in preparation for our movie nights. Our youngest loves to cuddle with her toys, and we all spread out over the couches and floor to watch from our favourite spots.

DELETED SCENES

Catch the colorful scenes you couldn’t see in theaters, with introductions by director Mike Mitchell and co-director Walt Dohrn.

We loved watching on Party mode. A coloured circle would pop up and you could hit the coloured button on your remote for it to engage. Pushing the yellow button would create a glittery burst. Pushing the blue button when prompted would make cupcakes appear. The green button would summon Mr Dinkles and the red button would create a high five from Cloud guy.

When the circle appears you have a bit of time to push the corresponding button on your remote.

Once you do, you can see he pops up and says “Oh snap”. My eight year old watched intensely as she was the one in charge of pushing the buttons.

After the movie was over we had a lot of fun scrap-booking, creating crafts, playing games and colouring. Being creative is an important part of childhood and you can see all of the great ways the Trolls are create in the movie. We tried to recreate some of the scrap-booking images we saw during Trolls.

My daughter is very creative and enjoyed cutting out papers in shapes and patterns to make scenes from the movie.

Some more family fun during the movie can be seen below.

We are so glad we added this to our collection! There is no doubt we will be watching it over and over again! Have you seen Trolls yet? Which features are you looking forward to on the movie?
