When my husband picked me up the other day he mentioned a few packages had arrived while I was away. A few were movies. My children had sent me pics of my packages and I told them what they could open and what they could not. One of the movies that arrived was The Croods.
The first thing my four and a half year old said to me when I walked in the door wearing my tiger striped shirt was “Mommy you look like a cave girl!” I did not realize she was still thinking about The Croods, she had watched a few days earlier. Later that night as we snuggled we watched it. I was pleased to see such a fun family movie that opened my children’s eyes to a time before ours. Little one even asked me about cave men and where she could meet one. I think a trip to a museum is in our future.
Available now on Bluray and DVD this fun family movie teaches you to not be afraid of the unknown. Step outside your comfort zone and explore. Family is important but being true to yourself is as well. we really loved this one and look forward to watching it over and over again.

This latest release from Dreamworks stars, Nicolas Cage, Ryan Reynolds, and Emma Stone. My fave character is Eep played by Emma Stone, maybe it is a ginger thing.
