About TOMS
In 2006, American traveler Blake Mycoskie befriended children in a village in Argentina and found they had no shoes to protect their feet. Wanting to help, he created TOMS, a company that would match every pair of shoes purchased with a pair of new shoes given to a child in need. My oldest daughter has been raving about TOMS for years. She says they are the most comfortable shoes ever. She usually goes out of her way to find them and has no problem paying a little extra when needed. It is all about the comfort. So when I was given the chance to try them out for my youngest, I could not wait. What girl would give up a chance at new shoes?
When the Red Canvas shoes arrived Little One was thrilled. I was worried about sizing as she did not try them on ahead, I just sent in my order. But they fit perfect! She prefers to war them without socks, being so warm out. They are comfy, no blisters and bright red. Perfect colour for her personality.
This kids’ version of our Original Classics features a canvas upper and a reinforced sole, keeping little feet happy and secure as they play. The canvas is quite breathable and the shoes slip n and off with ease.

We haven't tried TOMS yet. They look cute and comfortable and come in so many styles and colours. I really like that they provide shoes for needy children, too
