25 Things to Do This Fall

MY two favourite seasons are Fall and Spring. I love Spring for new beginnings, new life and fresh warm air. But Fall, Fall may be my ultimate fave! As sad as I am for the kids to go back to school, I love being back on routine. Having a schedule seems to put my life back on track. The fresh cooler air is welcomed after a hot Canadian summer and we get the opportunity to see extended family more. Thanksgiving here in Canada is in October so family always gathers together for a big feast.

Our family loves Halloween and often will go trick-or-treating as a family. We live rural so no kids would be coming to our door anyway. The nights are longer and the days are shorter but everything smells like apples and kids seem to be happier. We are planning a trip to our local orchard and I can not wait to get my hands on some apple cider.

Then for a change of pace, we will be visiting a local corn-maze that is haunted. At the end (if we survive) we will have cinnamon covered mini donuts. A fun family tradition we do every year during October.

Another thing I love about Autumn is my shows return to TV. Since we are inside a bit more with lounger nights, TV is a welcome choice for evening entertainment. My youngest is excited about Heartland returning and I can not wait to get back into some cheesy reality shows. So for me, Fall is about comfort and family.

To help you get the most out of your Fall this year, you can download and print off this fun 25 Things to do this Fall checklist.

There is no doubt we will be doing all of these things this coming season. What do you love about Fall most? Are you all about the pumpkins or apples?
